The time worn and authentic antiquing of the Old Havana Collection offers the same casual Caribbean charm that Hemingway found so enticing.

Ernest Hemingway Hardwood Flooring by Royalton offers a complete line of solid moldings made at the same factory the flooring is produced. This means the moldings are a perfect color match and perfect fit to your hardwood floor.
Stairnose
A resilient and durable trim for treads and risers on stairways. This molding is attached to wood floors on the stair and has a bull nose at the front edge to enhance the beauty of the staircase.
Reducer
Bridges the gap between two surfaces to create a smooth transition. It is designed to create a perfect transition between two floors of different heights, such as low profile flooring surfaces.
Threshold
The molding is typically used in doorways to finish the gap where the wood floor ends. This molding is also designed to make different floors fit perfectly, such as wood floors to high-profile carpeting, sliding glass doors, or areas around fire places.
Quarter-Round
This molding is used between the floor and wall base molding, it can also be used between the floor and wall directly and creates a subtle blend between the floor and wall as it will cover all expansion gaps next to walls.
T-Mold
Bridges the expansion gap between two level surfaces. Used in doorways to join woods floors in two rooms, it is also recommended when making a transition from wood floors to another floor of approximately the same height, such as ceramic tile.

Change and Grades
Ernest Hemingway Hardwood Flooring by Royalton collections are purposely selected as a character grade wood which contain all the original defining uniqueness such as open knotholes, pits, worm holes, true craftsmanship hand-scraping and other naturally occurring elements of a character grade floor. Our clients purchase these floors precisely for these defining characteristics in order to create a truly vintage look. Another important aspect to consider is when wood is exposed to normal sunlight it is subject to color changes. As with all natural products made from wood, these changes are expected and add beauty and distinctiveness to a hardwood floor.
Traditional Plain-Sawn Cut
Ernest Hemingway Hardwood Flooring is cut using a Plain-Sawn method, a similar cutting process as a solid hardwood floor, resulting in a much finer, tighter, and more traditional wood grain that completely eliminates the splitting and peeling process associated with peeled veneers. Because the surface of the floor is visually the most important part, a Plain-Sawn cut offers a wide variety of looks, adding character and charm to a hardwood floor.
